Job Title: Lead Downhole Tools Technician--Oil & Gas Drilling

Job Duties:

1. Supervise and mentor technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.

2. Provide training and guidance to junior team members.

3. Oversee directional drilling operations and downhole motor maintenance.

4. Troubleshoot and repair wellbore tools and components.

5. Conduct inspections, testing, and hydraulic breakout machine operations.

6. Provide technical solutions to enhance tool performance and reliability.

7. Generate reports on operational performance and equipment conditions.

8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

9. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures.

Education: Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in downhole tool operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting in the oil and gas industry.

Special Skills:

1. Ability to interpret drawings into physical products, with 2 years of CAD drawing experience required.

2. Understand the directional drilling industry, familiar with the usage of drilling motors

3. Ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations.

5. Proficient in the use of downhole tool testing equipment and diagnostic tools.

• Certifications: Certification of OSGA,      First AID, and CPR are required.
• Hours: Irregular hours,      on-call shifts, and extended work hours may be required.
• Physical Demands: Ability to work in      physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy equipment and      working in confined spaces.
